Xtend & Climb ladder review

Posted 08-04-2019 at 02:53 PM by GMFL
Updated 08-04-2019 at 02:55 PM by GMFL

Here’s just a quick review of my Xtend & Climb 125/300 Contractor Series Ladder. This telescoping ladder is 12.5’ tall when fully extended, collapses the 32” and is rated for 300lbs. This ladder has a black and silver anodized finish and weights in at just 34lbs. Despite its light weight and telescoping ability it is very stable to climb. The 12.5’ length works well to access the Airstream roof with plenty of height to have something the hang on to while stepping on and off the roof. All you...

Why Do We Camp?

Posted 08-02-2019 at 09:30 AM by GMFL
Updated 08-02-2019 at 01:16 PM by GMFL

Ok, most of my blog post are about some cool MOD I’ve done or about a repair method I think might be helpful, but today I’m going to try and answer the Question.... Why do we Camp?

So, why do people camp? This is a complex question with many different answers. Some say because they love the outdoors, others the peace and quite, and some just love the nomadic lifestyle. For most of us, all the above apply, but I think for me there’s a couple reasons that I just recently uncovered....

Freshen up your International badge

Posted 07-30-2019 at 08:42 PM by GMFL

Super easy project that makes a world of difference.
The International name badge on our 2014 23D was starting to show a little fading. The blue and white were both fine, but the red........left me feeling blah.
See photos for what I did. Effort required was minimal and Results are wonderful!

Paint was Rust-oleum RED APPLE

Updated 07-30-2019 at 09:04 PM by GMFL

I had a friend who did this to his trailer give me the pair of Linrose LED’s that I used for this project. Model number B4302H5 12V Here’s a link

This project was a little more involved than some I have done,...
