We picked her (74 Argosy 26) up in October, 2009 in Columbus, NE. Hooked onto her, checked out the tires, brakes and the lights, drove 450 miles at 60+ mph without a problem. Pulled like a dream behind my '98 3/4 ton Dodge pickup.
We are the 2nd family to own her.
She is in fair shape, with the usual 35 years of wear and tear.
the floor is in good shape with only a couple of bad spots that will repair easily. It (the floor) has some squeeks and creeks. I'll call it charactor.
The refer had been removed by the PO, but I brought it home with the trailer. The PO told me the water heater was leaking slightly, since it was the original Bowen, I figured it was time to replace it.
I could see the bath would need a major redo and the gaucho would have to go in favor of a dinette. The galley would also need some work.
Within a week of having her home, I had removed all of the unwanted items and checked out the plumbing and electrical systems. Work was needed in both of these areas.
As I progress with the upgrades I'll do my best to keep this up to date. When I figure out how to add pics to this, I will.

Very nice work. I like what you did with the dinette and the kitchen.

    Measurements

The seat cushions are 23"x40"x5", the backs are 16"x39"x4". The table is 30"x40". so when you add everything up the inside dimensions of the dinette is 76" wide x 40" deep. There is a space behind the backs of the dinette seats about 4" wide at the outside and follows the curve of the trailer wall as it goes forward.

The big guy is Ed, I'm Beth. We have a 1975 safari. We also want to change the front gaucho into a dinette. Yours looks great! Do you have the plans and or measurements? Thanks for the help in advance. Beth

Do you have any measurements/specs for the dinette? I am looking to replace the gaucho in our '92 25' with a similar setup.

    Thanks!
