This is my favorite Quad Cities area campground. It is truly park-like, but has minimal facilities for entertaining children. The sites are all well-shaded and most have water, electric (30-AMP) and sewer. There is no campground store nor laundry, but both can be found less than two miles from the park. Summer weekends often feature impromptu folk-music and campfire activities.
Many of the sites are seasonal, but overnighters have been welcome whenever I have been a guest.
Since my coach is self-contained, I have never utilized the bath house, but it is a fair distance from the sites with full hook-ups.
I spent nearly three months in this park during the 2000 season, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. At the time, they had some of the best long-term rates in the greater Quad Cities area.
