Description:
|
This is a working hereford ranch, so you're usually in close proximity to lots of cattle--they're fenced off. It's all very pastoral. There are about 70 level campsites, many with partial or full hookups. Lots of large grass sites, although those full hookup sites located in the center are small and crowded. This is a SERIOUS trout fishing region; I'm told that Hat Creek is legendary. The last pic is Burney Falls, about 20+ miles away and worth the trip. Weak WiFi and cell phone coverage. The staff is friendly and VERY helpful. Restrooms, showers (fee) laundry facilities adequate and very clean.
