Bonito Hollow is nestled mountainside in the Lincoln National Forrest. Caretakers Gary and JoAnn are retired teachers from Austin and have transformed this riverside campground into a private Idaho for those who know its whereabouts. River sites (Bonito Rio River), sand volleyball, free wifi, showers and laundry facilities (spotless!!), spacious sites -- this is not a parking lot! If you love to be up close and personal with the deer, pine trees and hummingbirds, you'll love this place. Full-hook ups make mid-week stays even better! Only minutes from Bonito Lake!

This is actually our second visit from last year. Lots of upgrades this year and sounds like more planned for next season. Paving entrance. More additions to nature trail -- waterfalls, etc. All sites will have full hookups and level pad with patio. Installing cell tower for cell access and erecting huge log pavilion. Can't wait to see it all!
