Description:

Good park with lots of space and shaded sites. There's hiking / biking trails. The swimming pond is "engineered" in that it's rectangular and shallow and treated. Entry is via sand / beach on one end so you get get in/out without getting muddy. The playground is primarily "Little Tikes" plastic structures. There are some swings and a merry go round for the older ones, but honestly if the kids can ride a bike, that's what they will be doing. The entire grounds are very flat and roads are straight, albeit unpaved. The campground has a very extensive general store that includes beer, wine, and even a state liquor store! They also have an on-site deli, sub shop, and pizza shop. There are a very limited number of full-hookup sites. The electric boxes have 50A and 20A plugs, so you'll definitely want your 50A to 30A adapter for this place. The campground is very grid-like in it's layout but there is good space on most sites. Sites are easy to get into and out of. There are no cement pads or even a gravel driveway. You park where you want to in the site.
