Description: We stayed here the last week of June 2010 in a 1962 Overlander. The owners and employees were friendly and helpful. One of the employees came by a couple of times to see if everything was all right and if we needed anything, which we appreciated.

The bath house is quite clean, and nicer than the hotels we've seen in the last twenty-plus years.

The area is hilly and pretty.

The freeway noise from I-40 is audible in the campground, but as it is constant, rather than quiet and then suddenly loud, we didn't find it a disturbance. The campground is just off the frontage road on the south side of the freeway. The main entrance and area around the office building and pool is paved. The internal roads are gravel. They looked as though they had new gravel on them.

We used 30-amp electric, but they have sites with 15 and 50, as well. We had a pull-through site which was fairly level. (We only needed one board.) The sites, in my opinion, are small, but, have room enough for another vehicle in addition to the tow vehicle and trailer. The sites have picnic tables and a metal fire pit. There are many shade trees on the sites, and some lovely groves of trees in the campground, which were filled with thousands of fireflies in the late evenings.

Although we always filter cooking and drinking water, the water at the campground tasted better than most places we've been.

There is a large, covered, picnic area, on a concrete pad, with fireplaces at one end.

We didn't use the laundry room, nor the pool, the golf, tennis, or other sports "things", nor the WiFi. The office has a small store with some RV supplies and parts, and a few grocery staples. There was always someone in the office during the posted office hours.

There are a few tent sites and water-electric sites, too. It looked as though the back part of the campground, perhaps half of it, was designated for long-term and "permanent" camping.

Among the short-term campers, there was quite a spectrum of RVs, including the giant, very fancy, ultra-long MHs, the usual flat-front, flat-top travel trailers, some giant, fifth wheels, and a few smaller trailers. We saw one tent trailer, one tent, and only a couple of the very small travel trailers with the shallow, slide out beds.

The days we were there, the campers (people, not the RVs) seemed mostly in their fifties and sixties, with many much older. There were very few younger people. Many people had small dogs and kept them on leashes. The campground has a pond. The property is large enough to enjoy strolling around a bit.

The campground is well maintained and we found it quite pleasant. I wouldn't call it a resort, but a very nice campground with extras.

Didn't see any other Airstreams there, but did see a beautiful Sovereign parked at a house in the area.

Hope that's enough of a report to give someone else an accurate impression.
