Full hookup campground baout 16 mi from Galveston, Tx. Located on Galveston Island across the street from the beach. Has 78 full hookup sites, swimming pool, free daily newspaper and free breakfast on Wed and Saturday. All concrete roads and pads that are 60 Feet long. 30 and 50 amp service.
Feels a little cramped. The main drives are a little narrow. A few full time residents (Leftover from IKE?)
This is one of the few, if not the only, RV parks open on Galveston Island. It is close to the beach (walking distance) and to the major attractions in Galveston. Price was about $40 per night. Popular with Texans.
Located in Jamaica Beach at 17200 FM 3005 (Take I 45 S, exit 61st St. to Seawall, South on Seawall about 10 mi to campground on right.
