Description: We just returned from a wonderful trip to this campground and the Zion National Park. The campground has every amenity you could ask for and is clean, quiet and easy to manuver thru (most of the rigs in the campground were very big). A member of the Good Sams Club, Zion River Resort is advertised as a 5 star resort. It has a shuttle bus that starts running to Zion NP in April which is nice for saving gas and being able to relax and see the very impressive sights! We had only one disappointment - the hot tub was broken when we arrived and not due to be fixed for 2 weeks. They have a nicely arranged website with lots of info and pictures. It is not an inexpensive place, but this was our maiden voyage with our Argosy Minuet and we wanted it to be special. We felt very safe, secure and comfortable and it was nice to be within a couple of hours to many places of interest - Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Zion National Park, Las Vegas; to mention a few.

Pros: Area is fantastic
Cons: Costs in Utah are generally high., high tax state

If you never been to this area, you will love it. Bryce Canyon is just up the road and Lake Powell & Monument Valley to the east. On your way east you go through Kanab, Ut. interesting little town for an over night. Many movies are filmed in the area so it was a place to stay for the crews and stars. In my opinion this is one of the most interesting areas of the county, the four corners has a mystical feel to it, where it all began.
