We stayed here for only one night before we traveled north to our final destination. As a stop along the way it was a great campground that I would highly recommend. The area is very scenic with a deepwater view and nice walking and hiking trails near the university farm, Wolfe's Neck.* It's just a short ride into Freeport for outlet shopping (L.L.Bean, etc.) and a nice dinner out. Our only disappointment in this campground was the dump station.* It wasn't setup for pull-thru when we were there and it wouldn't have been fun backing the trailer around a sharp curve to get it in the spot it needed to be in to dump, so we didn't bother and waited until we reached the next campground.*
