Underneath appears to be intact, with belly skin in place. Tires looked OK but after 35 yrs. and tubes in split-rims....I didn't want to go far like that....the air held insided and are still pumped up. |

The skin is in great shape, only one small area in the street side the size of an egg, there is a dent....made from a bear trying to look in side because of the food smell. |

Getting it out of the Mtns. proved to be a
chore in itself, this unit had a cabin built in front of it and blocked the hitch area. The use of a 4 wheeler with a winch work wonders. |

Found on a Mtn. Top in Georgia, a 1955 22' Safari. Everything appears to be original and worked two years ago. This trailer has been parked in one spot for 35 years! My friend and I moved it, by first pumping up the tires--They held air!! and pulling it approx. 6 miles to an area that I will load it on a flatbed trailer and bring it home, to start yet another project. |
