Renogy Wanderer Controller
|
Description |
For the 2x100 watt Renogy panels which stow in a bracket on the underside of my hard tonneau and above the two Honda 2000s (see other gallery pics) I have a Renogy Wanderer with an Anderson Power 12v 50 amp quick connect and 15' of 10 ga ending in a male and female MC4 connector. The controller uses hardware store magnets bolted to its mounting lugs to attach to the frame or battery box. This allows quick connect and disconnect of the panels to the battery bank with the controller between and with proper polarity at both ends. |

Rear Floor In Place! (finally)
|
Description |
The rear floor is now in place, bolted down, and as not yet shown in the picture, all the cutouts for the tanks are done. Anyone contemplating this project should know... everything takes 10 times longer than you anticipate. Especially if you are working alone. |

Link Creek USFS CG, Suttle Lake, OR
|
Description |
9/27/2014, 64 degrees. Looking uphill from the lake shore. Another great hike today up Black Butte; we were rewarded with views all the way from the Three Sisters in the South to Mt Adams in the North on this perfect fall day. Headed back to Suttle Lake for dinner; afterwards noticed that a tire was flat on the truck (picked up a bolt). So for dessert it was get the spare on before it got dark - slept well that night! |
