Master Bedroom! I love how much light it gets from those windows!

Baker City, OR: Wally Byam B-day Rally
|
Description |
7/1-5/2011. Well worth the trip to Baker City - this was the best part! Parked in the Mt View RV Park with about 26 other Airstreams - fun when you wanted it and quiet otherwise. Hung out with fellow 4CU folks and enjoyed Oregon Unit hospitality. We also took time to tour and hike the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and the Sumpter mining exhibits. After kicking around this part of the country for a while it was great to slow down and see it! |

Lewiston Grade On The Way To Baker City
|
Description |
6/30/2011. On the way to the Wally Byam B-Day Rally in Baker City, OR. At the top of the Lewiston Grade (2756') looking down to the Snake (740') and Lewiston/Clarkston (756'). Rattlesnake Summit (about 4900') in the distance. Beautiful scenery, feel you're on top of the world, but 53 degrees coming down from Spokane today - need to get warmed up! Stopped at the bottom of Lewiston Grade at the Lunchbox Deli and BBQ (Junct US12 and ID128) for some brisket and ribs - best in this part of the country! On to Hell's Gate SP and meetup with Kingfisher 24. |

Wally Tattoo
|
Description |
Some might call this crazy but I've been called much worse! This tattoo is a collaborative effort between myself, Michael J DePraida (AIR forums member ArtStream) and tattoo artist extraordinaire Charon Henning (also an AIR forums member). Many of you will recognize Michael DePraida's "Wally" image that I used with the artist's permission in the tattoo, I added the globe, compass rose with Airstream trailers, my WBCCI numbers and the fleur de lis in the background. Charon turned the trailers around so they were facing clockwise (which made a lot of sense) added shading and just generally cleaned up my work and of course did all of the tattoo work. The picture was taken just minutes after she had finished and the numbers were still oozing a tiny bit making them look slightly blurry. It turned out great and I am proud to wear the two artists work and pretty proud of my design as well. |
