Gaucho To Bunk Bed Coversion
|
Description |
My conversion of my rear gaucho-bed to BunkBeds. I left the original gaucho frame in place, removed the front trim and plastic storage boxes. I leveled & screwed the aluminum slider in place. Next I installed a 31" x 76" plyboard base. I built a frame from 2x2s, toggle bolted & liquid nailed the frame to the outer wall. Next came the outer wall (76" x 4') then the upper plyboard base (31" x 76"). Its screwed & liquid nailed together. It basically sits on the frame of the original gaucho, so it could be removed and the gaucho put back. I have an exterior entry for access under the bunkbeds. Ambassador 29'. |
