Thread Display Exaggerated

Several threads I follow display in a greatly exaggerated horizontal direction. I have to scroll way over to the right and back to read each line. I notice there are no ads on the right column on these threads.

"Paulie gets a makeover" is an example of this that I ran into this morning.

What might I be doing wrong? Most threads are opened normally. Changing display modes does not help. I believe it only happens when pictures are attached to the thread.

What browser are you using? I usually see this on other forums when someone has attached a large image and it stretches the screen out to fit the image, but for me AirForums has always reduced those images down to a reasonable size. It sounds like your browser is not handling it, and if you scroll up and down one of those pages that is not working for you you'll probably see an oversize picture that is forcing the right side of the screen way over. That's my first guess, anyway.

I have found that happens occasionally when there is a photo or photos in the post and it takes a while to download the entire photo. Usually they are large photos and I am on a slow connection to the net when it happens.

If I wait a bit, all snaps back into normal, once the photo(s) is loaded. BTW, I use Safari as my browser.

Thanks Stephanie. I use Explorer. The photos I post are resized by AirForums from about 3 meg to 500k. I have noticed photos taken by phones take longer to load. Maybe they are not downsized. And I wonder if some folks have a "copy and paste" method of including photos in their posts.

And I have experienced what Idroba has. While I'm struggling with a greatly exaggerated thread, it will suddenly snap back to normal. It happened the other day and I wondered what feature I might have rolled over with my cursor that fixed my
problem. I was wondering if there is a "button" I can hit that would resize my display.

It is nice to hear others have this problem, misery loves company. I'm too impatient to wait for the broadband to fully load a thread if that is the problem.
