Never tried to turn my trailer too tightly when pulling forward or backing up. I did scuff the tires on the front axle, but it was usually during low speed turns.

The number designation usually stands for BTU of heat output. I would not install a heater with lowered output in a 28 foot Argosy. You should be looking for a NT 30 by Suburban.
