GFI's hate moisture of any kind. We solved the problem of an overactive GFI by sealing/waterproofing our outside outlets. They can be used in an emergency with a bit of work but no more problems....

A good hitch is answer to many of your issues. We have a Hensley and have 180,000 miles on it. Pricey but worth it. Fifteen round trips Maine to Alaska and other trips to Texas, California etc.....
