My Chevy dealer called me yesterday to let me know about the recall and got me right in to fix it. Which is good because I leave on a 10000 mile trip on Sat.

Found a GM forum and got some info. Basically they've had some failures of welds and are going to replace the hitch platform. But from what I see the dealers don't have the parts yet. Typical.

Does any one have information on a GM recall for trailer hitch cracking on GM 2014-15 1500's. I got a notice from Onstar but no real information 257695
