Seems so. I keep mine in store 90% of the time I'm plugged in and the a.c. works (and heat).

If it's a newer trailer you can prevent the converter charger from charging the batteries by putting the use/store switch in store mode. Fridge on gas. Hot water heater off. That should be all...
