Hi Jaime, On my 60 Carvel I used the the door gasket on the rear hatch. It worked fine. Looks like the setup is about the same as your 56. LP

Hi Greg, I found that this works good for sealing the doors. Here. (https://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/product_p/vts-524.htm) But, you can probably find something similar at a hardware store.
