I've found that relocating desert dust is as simple as opening all the windows and vents, driving 55-60 mph, and continuing to do so day-to-day until it just doesn't bother me, anymore:lol:

I'll bet the heater is the battery drain culprit...they eat like a 454 and a lot of the heat is vented out...a small catalytic heater will warm sufficiently, and you can buy an attachment for your 5...
