I have 1,000 lb. bars. Works fine. You could drop your L-brackets one hole and see what that does for it, not a tough job to do, just make sure you torque the nuts correctly.

Went to the Ford dealership yesterday, and the F250's were all 24 and a 1/4 inch to top inside of the receiver....

Any way y'all could specify the equalizer shank sku# for us?
