I’ve had my 25’ eddie bauer for 11 years. I boondock in some odd offroad areas and never have had an issue, however, I installed lift kit this year for piece of mind.

Coast flashlights are quite amazing, very inexpensive and guaranteed for life. They have rechargeable and battery options- I have quite a few. Surefire and streamlight are very expensive options.

Dissimilar metals are the problem. Best thing to use is called noalox. It’s an anti oxidation goo that works very well. I use it on all thread points and at ground conductor connections.
