Contacted PD. No simple repair for the converter not charging the batteries. Ordered a new PD 4655V to replace the entire unit. Only lasted 6 years. Hope this new model does better.

Do I really need to cut an access hole on the inside to get at the nut? The bottom hinge has moved away from the trailer by about a 1/4". The Philip's screw just spins when I attempt to tighten it.
