Thicker frame adds more weight which equals LESS payload. My 2023 Platnium F150 hybrid 4x4 was 1331 without the tow package. So this set up would be less payload.

Ford says no WD hitch required on 2017 SD.

I read that ford said no weight distribution hitch needed while towing a camper. Comes with anti sway, but then again my 2011 did as well.
