I have a 2017 F350 srw Diesel and tow a 17 Classic, my payload is 3555lbs. The only way you will get that kind of payload in a F250 is with a gas model.

I’ve had my 2017 F350 for almost a year now and have had no problems with the integrated brake controller and have mine set at 7 towing a 30ft Classic that weighs around 9100lbs.

I think it depends when it was built, job 2 trucks went back to the 2 1/2” receiver for 350srw but 3” for 350drw. My 350srw lariat was built in may and has the 2 1/2” receiver.

I was replying to another post that said tongue weight is not counted towards payload. I never said it consumes all payload, but tongue weight does count towards payload.
