Took it for a test run this morning, ran at all speeds. Everything looks good, no abnormal gauges and the check engine light stayed dark! While stopped idle was around 800-900.

Mine has always idled around 1000 when running well. From what I have read this is at the top edge of the idle window. I'm taking it for test drive tomorrow and I'll update the idle numbers.

I think it is on the top of the radiator, but not sure. We have been back on the road for 2 days trying to make up time. When I have a chance this weekend I'll look for it and take a picture.

I agree, although it has been 5 years since last long trip. I'm pretty sure this last one was because it was drained to 2 volts by the time we got off the highway.
