I couldn't agree with you more!!

My family and I recently left the unit we belonged to for many of the same reasons you cited, especially the politics, BS and exclusivity. Its only camping people...RELAX!!!!!

After reading horror stories about old axles failing I removed a tire from my 62 bambi to ascertain the angle of my axle. The attached pictures are what was awaiting me. This can't be original....

Nuvite, w/ variable speed DeWalt polisher & a Cyclo.

Question Bambi Numbers

The ID number on the side of my 62 Bambi is simply "S 1865".
What does this mean? There is also a California ID badge next to the blue airstream badge.
