Here is my fix til I can get it it properly repaired. Plexiglass and gorilla tape with some foil tape on top for aesthetic. We'll see how it lasts.

Thanks guys. Yeah, pretty clear it's not going to get fixed any time soon. My fix may have to do for the summer even. At Home Depot now getting plexiglass and gorilla tape. Have to get a jigsaw too...

Only issue I had was shipping costs. They wanted $80 to ship a rafter arm for our awning, more than the cost of the part. Went straight to ZipDee instead and they shipped for less than half of that...
