Lesson learned: check EVERYTHING when installing new axles. I too found my spindle nuts loose when I installed my new Dexter axles a couple of years ago. Brake shoes needed adjustment too.

I lower tire pressure on all rough roads and washboards to around 45 psi. Highway I run at 65 which is 15 lbs below max recommended which is 80 psi. It seems to helps keep things together.
