That's the thickness I was thinking 1/8. Everything seems to be 3/16 or a 1/4 I've seen so far which seems heavy. Rugjenkins I have to repair the original just to get my Jewel home to build the frame...

I'm having trouble finding the metal channel to replace the frame on my '76 Excella project. Everything is to big, I found a place that can bend sheets but only 10' long. I'm in Chesapeake, Va.
