No booster, it works great. it shows tire temperatures and air pressures. the sensors are the stems so no problem breaking the stems.

Good to hear. Make sure that it charges up to 14.2 volts. You would need a shunt to see this.

I don't believe I would blame it on the wiring my charged at 48amps. I don't know if this helps or not but I let my batteries shut down themselves the recharged them.
