We are curious; how much weight do u carry in the carrier? We have inquired about adding a receiver for our carrier, Airstream and other forum members have said it is not recommended. Concerns being sway and shell pulling from frame. We are wanting to carry 2 portable Honda generators secured to the carrier. Our carrier model is the same as shown in your picture.

Question Cargo Added?

Did you ever find an answer to this? I'm looking into doing the same and have read that adding weight to the A-frame will cause problems, so was hoping to find someone who had tried adding a cargo frame to the back to house their generators. It would be wonderful if we could all carry them and better yet not even need them, but some of us are in hot climates and not able to lift the generators, so we need a permanent way to fix them to the trailer.
