Greetings from Canada!
I just purchased my first trailer this week, a 1977 Argosy, 24', rear door, twin bed model. I'm a total novice and am still holding my breathe until the closest Airstream Dealership service department has a look at it for a systems/safety check in the first 2 weeks of September. Trailer looks fairly original, less the outer paint job, a new water pump, a plumbing piece in the storage closet next to the oven, converter, carpet, and tires. Interior decor and appliances are all original and in good condition as far as I know with the exception of the furnace "that only needs a gasket". It stunk like moth balls so I have no idea if there is any mold buildup in the floors. I am the 3rd owner and am not handy - yet! It was a happy 50th Birthday gift from me to me. I hope to park it up in Norther Ontario for the summer next season (will need a dependable furnace) and I hope I don't go broke fixing what an untrained lady eye missed! I would appreciate any advice, resources, books etc you can recommend. Best Regards, Sandra
