Picked up a 68 Trade Wind yesterday from WA. It had been abandoned and was sold by a towing company. It had the numbers 3179 on it at one time. Anyone know who may have owned it when it was wearing those numbers?

In taking a closer look at the picture you posted,it looks to me like the number was 31795.

Is there a directory of old WBCCI numbers somewhere? I have a ghost number on mine and stickers on top of that. I'll be getting my new numbers next week and wanted to do some research with the old ones.

You are right, I did not notice the 5 at the end.

That number belongs to a long time member and looks like it has only been issued once. They are from the Washington State area.

My 62 has 7653 ?? Can you help?

dwightdi 10-27-2009 05:10 AM

The numbers on the trailers are issued and reissued over the years. My 1964 Directory lists 7853 as being issued to Dee and Edna Martin from Idaho Falls, Idaho. However, this number has been reissued to many more people over the 45 years, since it was originally issued. It is likely the Martins have been dead for years.

sorry its 7653

Claude - Neither of those numbers appear in my 2009 Membership Directory. Sorry.
I"m using your polishing products, and am one satisfied customer. A good product!! Thanks.

7653 is Martin. My typo in the initial reply.

3477 in the 69 directory is listed to Hanson but no address. 1970 Directory has it as George and Gabriellie Hansen from Ellsworth, WI

18488 in the 69 directory is listed to Ken and Ann Plummer of Buchanhon, W. Virginia.

10394 is not listed in the 69 Directory. It looks like they had a printing error as all the number around that number are also missing. 1970 Directory has it listed to Gordon and Chloris Brownell from Salem Oregon.
