Bambi Hitch Height - Equalizer Hitch Shank

Our 07 19ft Bambi should be arriving from the factory in a bit, and I am trying to calculate the correct hitch shank for an equalizer hitch.

The shank selection tool asks for the number of inches from the parking surface to the inside top of the trailer coupler, when the trailer is parked level.

Can anyone measure this for me on their Bambi?

Also what kind of tongue weight can I expect with this unit? Assuming 2 LP tanks full, the 2 batteries and spare tire.

Tanks!

These specs are available on www.airstream.com. Go to PRODUCTS/BAMBI/SPECIFICATIONS; this will provide hith ball height,tongue weight, and all other measurements. Tongue weight can vary somewhat based upon how you load.

As far as coupler height, off the top of my head it was approximately 18.5"....but I'll have to check that number foresure tonight. It's very close to that.

Tongue weight will be close to 600lbs as well depending on options. The tongue weight specs do not include full LP tanks, just the battery. So 510 spec plus propane puts you close to 600lbs.

tongue weight specs don't include the spare tire/wheel either...:blink:

gotta weight it.
the 19 would be pretty easy to do at home
using the 'bathroom scale' method
outlined on the a/s website and in the manual...

cheers
