Supports for pull out couch.1968 Safari
I have a 1968 Safari with a pull out couch from a slightly earlier model and I need to construct some kind of support for the couch when it is slid out to a double bed. If anyone has pictures of theirs I'd appreciate seeing them. Also how and where the supports attach would be helpful. Thanks

Depending on how far it pulls out, you may be able to incorporate “Walter of Wabash” slides. They were original on our 66 Safari pull out bed and have never been a problem. Vintage Trailer Supply sells them but can be made if you have a table saw. Good luck

Are you referring to the hardwood Bed Slides that VTS sells? I'm looking more for legs to support the edges that pull out.

The photograph will be hard to see but if you zoom in you can get a better idea.

This is the pull out part of the bed standing on end. These are on the bottom left and right corners of the pull-out bed. They are short aluminum bars/legs that click lock out.Attachment 346700
