Cedar Branches under my Airstream (full-time resident) for Insect Control?
Iím living in my 1966 30í Soveriegn Airstream full-time and my landlord just cut some branches off of a cedar tree to make room for me to have a garden. I donít have an insect problem, but as I was placing the freshly cut branches in a pile, I realized that cedar is a natural insect repellant. I live in central Texas and insect season is approaching. Aside from the fire hazard (I would remove them after they dry so much that they would easily catch fire), has anyone done this?
Pros and cons?

According to this article, there are plenty of bugs that attack and live in cedar trees.

Google "Talstar". I have used this product for years. Spray it all around the perimeter of your Airstream. No more bugs, ants, spiders, etc. Get a gallon and it will last a couple seasons. Have fun spraying.

I do not think putting the cedar branches under the Airstream will accomplish anything good. And the cedar is a fire hazard even when green.

And you will be creating habitat for undesirable critters.
