Connected TV
Hi, I want to connect my tv to the antenna, but the connection where it stays tv antenna just has a weird 2 pin thing, what is that? Pictures below. Thanks

It's the old flat wire system. You can wire it to a coax adaptor to connect it to a modern TV. The male plug in picture 2 probably has 2 screws. The coax adaptor will have a short piece of flat wire with terminals. Just connect the flat wire to the two screws and plug it in to the box on the wall. Then connect the coax.

Take that piece to Radio Shack or any electronics store - Flat Wire like that could be from as early as the 1950's. They'll sell you an adapter and tell you where to stick it. :blush:

Robert's item is what you need to match the flat wire from the antenna 300 ohm impedence to 75 ohm that all tv's now use.
