Finally... What to do with the sink cover
3 Attachment(s)
Even though we've had our new-to-us 23D International Serenity for only a short time, we already discovered that we didn't know what to do with the round sink cover when we needed the sink, well, uncovered...

Found a 'robe hook' that works perfectly, and it matches the Grohe kitchen faucet perfectly. It only protrudes 1 5/8" from the cabinet, much less than it looks in the photo.

Under twenty bucks and this little 'problem' is solved!

Check it out here:

I just stick mine under the couch cushion. Out if site out of mind until needed.

I lay mine on the couch. Doesn't cost anything.

Very nice looking. Mine just stays under the sink since I keep a plastic tub in the sink most of the time.

Under the bed!

That little hook is a neat idea. We have never found a use for it, so ours is stored along with the original bedspreads in a closet somewhere in the house.

We put a flip up shelf beside the sink in our 2015 23D with a hickory surface to match the hickory dinette table top. Both the solar charge controller display along with the Magnum controller display and the ship's clock have been mounted on hickory panels. We also have a hickory panel for the new circuit breaker box below the refrigerator. We installed a key hook strip below the flip up side table.

The sink frisbee is stored either under the mattress or the "sofa" cushion.

Mine stays under the couch cushion - until I cook pizza - then I use it as a pizza peel

And when it 'warps' from not using it just toss it unless you can find a way to 'recycle'.

Never use it. Under the bed.

I hang ours on a command hook next to the stove once we get where we are going.

We leave ours at home . . . somewhere?

However, I remember seeing a nifty large arc cut into the side of one by someone on the forum, so that sink cover could be used a cutting board/meal prep area and still have the faucet/sink function at the same time. I like that idea.

I put under the mattress of the bed. Fits nicely without being compromised :)
