I am new a member and I have some questions

Ialso have floor rot in bath area. I have replaced the floor and sealed with rot dr. epoxy. I also have beefed up the frame with 4 inch channel from in front of axles to the rear of the trailer. I was wondering if I could add bigger holding tanks without a big headach. the trailer is a 74 overlander that was given to me, so i dont mind spending a little money on it. Everything on the trailer works or it did before i took a part. any help or informantion on any part of the trailer would be abig help thanks.

You should be able to...

Depending on where your tanks are now you should be able to add bigger ones. If they are way in the back end you might want to consider adding bigger ones further forward if you can get the plumbing to work. That way you won't be adding a lot more weight too far back - which might unbalance the AS too much. The other thing to keep in mind is that you will either have to let the new tanks hang down below the belly pan to allow them to be bigger or mayby modify the frame cross members to allow them to be wider to get the increased capacity.

I suggest that you check out the following thread for some discussion about tanks and some sources where you can get them:

"Combined Gray and Black Water?"

A few of us have added, or are in the process of adding, tanks.

I recommend doing a search on this forum for "grey tank" or "gray tank", this should yield some threads where additional tanks have been discussed at length.

Personally, I just completed a floor replacement, and I am now adding a new graytank underfloor.

Here is a sample thread: http://www.airforums.com/forum...light=greytank

and

Enjoy,

Christopher
