Sorry to miss this but dec15-feb15 is key west time.

Panama Red 02-21-2015 03:21 PM

What's Key West got that we ain't got? Wait, don't answer that...

-Red, no, wait, we've got that too...

I just reserved spot 78. This place is filling up fast. Loop 103 is full!! I would not go by the Canopener 2016 maps. Check with reserve america. Our lake front site from this year is already booked for Friday and Saturday only. Karen and I usually stay all week. We loved Canopener 2015 so much we thought we had better show up again to make sure. Looking forward to seeing everyone again plus the new faces.

So glad you are coming back LOGUE! Without a doubt your motorhome was one of my favorites!

Panama Red 02-26-2015 06:35 PM

Hey Logue, welcome back... However, the Canopener 2016 maps reflect exactly what the RSVP page says. That's everybody who has responded so far. About to put you on the map in just a minute... As long as I find you on the RSVP page that is.

-Red, master of maps and commander of campgrounds...

Panama Red 02-26-2015 07:34 PM

Logue, also go back to the RSVP page and enter your names there. That is the official page they use to make up name tags, etc.

-Red, trying to keep, track of it all...

Panama Red 02-26-2015 07:42 PM

Canopener 2016

I've updated the 103 Loop map to reflect the RSVP's appearing on the registration page (RSVP Page) as of 02/26/2015

We may still be missing some of the RSVP's lost when the two RSVP lists were merged. If you RSVP'd earlier, and don't see your name on the map, you'll need to go to the RSVP page and register for the rally again by clicking on the Rally Registration link below. If you have a campground registration, and have not registered yet for the rally, please RSVP to the Rally Registration link below.

Link to the current Outside Loop 103 Map:

Canopener 2016 - Outside Loop 103

Link to the Rally Registration (RSVP) Page:

Canopener 2016 Link to RSVP

We have a few people that have RSVP'd, but didn't list their site number or the names of members attending. Please check the RSVP page if you don't see your name listed on the maps...

Seriously, GO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SIGNED UP ON THE OFFICIAL CANOPENER RSVP PAGE!!! Great, now I'm hoarse from shouting... Just to let you know, the RSVP page is what they will make your official Canopener name tags from, so make sure you list the name of everyone in your party.

-Red, mapoholic...

Panama Red 02-26-2015 07:47 PM

One more quick thing. If you find an error on the maps, please PM me with your find. I'm updating the list solely from the RSVP page. Trying to dig through this thread and keep track of who's where is a bit overwhelming, and too time consuming. Thanks a bunch!!!

-Red, not as good at this as he wished...

Panama Red 02-26-2015 08:18 PM

Side note, the outside the loop 103 map was updated also... One day I'll quit screwing up this thread.

-Red, trying...

Deep breaths Red, deep breaths...

Melissa-hoping Red doesn't keel over before we make it to CO '16

Thanks for the kind words on the motor home. Karen and I love it. I always get a kick out of the campground attendants asking me, "What is your TOW vehicle". The early Airstream motor homes are rather scarce. I have always loved Airstreams, so when I retired we found this one. I feel very fortunate to have bought it from the original owners.
THANKS AGAIN
Billy and Karen Logue

Hey Red, I hope this doesn't push you over the edge, but I have always wondered why the Map URL is not on the RSVP page? :dizzy:

AirHeadsRus 02-28-2015 12:19 PM

to reserve or not to reserve.....

Speaking of which, I don't see y'all on the rsvp page. Are you trying to tell us something???? Or are you just laying in wait to announce your site for 2016?:brows:

AirHeadsRus 02-28-2015 12:26 PM

Welcome back Billy and Karen, look forward to seeing your fabulous selves and airstream moho in 2016. And a hello and welcome to Kip and Debbie. I'm confident ALL will have a grand time at Canopener 2016!
As always if anyone, especially those new to Canopener, have questions please ask away here on the forum thread or feel free to PM me or my 'lovely assistant'!

Wow, Red reading the Canopener thread updates from the church 30 minutes(ish) before he walks his daughter down the aisle. THAT is an example of taking your map guru responsibilities seriously or maybe Dad just needed the distraction.

Well, I was walking her up the aisle, and thought, "I better check the Canopener thread...WHAT THE FRENCH TOAST!!!" So, this forum and its members ruined my daughters wedding.

-Red, expecting compensation...

I am planning on retiring that Friday, I can't think of a better way to celebrate my retirement than to join my first rally!
