Anyone know where to buy a glass bar that the arm attaches to?

Looking for the item in the photo.
It is the window glass arm that goes in the groove of a 1966 Globetrotter that would then allow it to move/open when glass is installed. I don't know if it is called a glass arm or not, but the part the glass gets glued to.
It slides in.

SEE PIC

I have asked VTS and they are looking into it.
Anyone know if someone sells one or have one I can buy?

If your talking about the metal part that holds the glass, that part is called a "hinge".

There is something immediately about your hinge, that I do not recognize.

The 66 hinges, are long gone. Your best bet is to find a 66 salvaged Airstream someplace.

Yes, I am talking about the "hinge." I will BOLO for one.

A salvaged trailer is your only chance.

Hello bambibooth. Did you ever find anyone who has any of those? I need one like it also, 39", single hinge. Thanks, HD.

You can call these folks and ask.

There is some confusion about the labeling of their glass-bars, but what's illustrated in their on-line catalog might be it.

The images below are for sure the cross-section profile and end edge milling of a 17" 1966 Philips/Corning Glass-bar.

It could be CNC machined from Aluminum bar stock. Not a problem with the correct dimensions. It might not cost as much as you think, and if it works, you could sell the extras to Andy.....at a fair price of course.
