Wiring new intellipower

Hi all,
So there are three wires from the univolt
blue for battery pos.
white for battery neg.
and red for battery load positive.

But there are only two places on the new intellipower converter.
One positive and one neg.
so do both positive wires go on the new positive or am I supposed to do something more complex?

Firstly, you should know I aint no electrician.

My guess is the white wire is your nuetral feed into a buss bar for your fuse panel. The red to the positive side. So blue should go to your - battery terminal and red +. But wait until someone else confirms this. I would call Randy at Best Converter. There should also be a ground for the Intellipower.

Sounds like we are talking about your 12 volt system. White wire should be your ground. The other two wires should be power leading out. Possibly one to the battery and one to your 12 volt fuse panel. When I installed my intipower converter I called to see how the battery should be hooked up. The stated that the battery can be any where on the system, or you can run one of your two power leads to the battery (if you have two) and the other to your 12 vlt fuse panel.

Can you trace the two wires? I'm thinking like you one feeds the battery and the other feeds the panel.

Seems odd that it would go to the inverter and not the 12 volt fuse panel. Possible I guess.

In the photo the blue wire looks like a heavy gauge wire, maybe 8 or 6. Blue is usually the charge line from the tow vehicle, and is heavier than the other wires, but I think it is no heavier than a 10 gauge. Could be wrong.

I would guess that the blue and red wires on the left in your first photo go to the glass fuses above. One to each fuse.
You could use an AGU 2 position fuse block and wire it similar to the drawing below. bring the red and blue wires in on the left side, then run a single wire from the right side to the + on the converter.

The white wire is not NEUTRAL; it is common/ground.

I believe the blue wire is the charge line to and from the TV, so that would be attached to one of the fused outgoing lines with a 30 Amp fuse, if I am not mistaken. So, red from or to battery positive, white to battery negative or ground elsewhere, and blue to fuse panel with 30 Amp fuse. I would recommend you get more expert advice but that is my humble opinion.

Ok, starting at the bottom. I like bottoms... That appears to be your 110 volt AC shore line power. You will need to put some kind of female 110 volt AC plug on those wires to plug into your new inverter. Black should be hot, white common, the striped copper ground. Plz correct me if I'm wrong.

Blue wire. + battery
White wire. - battery

Dirty looking ?? Wire (load). What I would consider to your 12 volt DC fuse panel. Of any other 12volt DC power draw.

Do you have a 12 volt DC fuse panel?
