    Wayward,

Seriously thank you for the information. I have so many questions and as I said I like to fully understand everything prior to getting involved in it. My electrical expertise consists of basic wiring knowledge for 110 residential the most I've ever done myself is installing new circuits and wiring up lights and outlets and three way switches. So I'm trying to learn all I can about 12v systems and what it exactly means to hookup to a 30amp 110v service versus a 50amp 220v service for an rv. My end goal is to have an airstream with an electrical panel or interface that is user friendly and can transition between batteries and solar to a generator or shore power smoothly without all of the headaches that I've been reading about on other threads.

So thanks for all the info,

    Pete
