I may have already asked you this but do you know your subfloor width? I have a 63 Overlander (California made) and the floor was so bad that I couldn't get an accurate messurement. I think it may be 88.5"

Hi, someone sent me a link to your forum piece about making the superbed in your trailer. I'm trying to do just that. What type of wood did you slide onto your cleats to support the addtional bolsters? i was thinking plywood was too heavy. I'm doing the same thing to our 71 Trade Wind. also, where do you store the addtional bed support when you travel? thanks, thanks maggiefoss

Hey - I posted a picture of you wearing sunglasses and holding a beer at a rally. Let me know if it is okay with you.

Of course you've got to find it first...

    Hope all is well,
    Tom

Can you tells us anyone who could help with a restoration in your area? We are in College Station (by hubby is a Texas-Ex!)
We have a 66' Caravel and we first want to replace the axle, and belly pan, then the interior. Some water damage to the cabinets and need to repair the bathroom pan. The cushions are disintegrated. But the axle, belly pan and floor repair is first priority. So far we only see one hole under the bathroom sink.
I heard there is someone in Lockhart, but I lost his contact information.

Hi UTee94.. I'm PetervB, live in Austin, UT74 grad.. Just starting a rebuild of a '60 tradewind and I've read all your blogs. very helpful. do you know where to get replacement J-channel? Mine are corroded at the front and back. Looks like its made of aircraft Al 0.040" If I could find aircraft 2024-t3 or equivalent, I could have it made up here in a shop. Any ideas?

Hi utee94...would you look at an airstream in north austin for me? What would you charge? I am not in a place to do big repairs, so very important that I get it in good condition. I was utee69-70 but was too crazy at the time to finish. Ended up at u houston...pook in New Braunfels

    Marcus,

I started a blog the other day, and would appreciate any comments you may have (there's a generator update).
