    Hello Transoceanic --
I read all your posts with interest because I am currently doing most of the same, to a 64 Streamline Countess 26'er. And I ran into almost indentical problems as you did. Good bones and shell but interior disaster with rotten floors. Removed the interior which is all aluminum, thousands of rivets! But it's out and the floor is about halfway out now, ran into the same issue with radius ends of the crossmembers not even under the flooring, at the rear of the trailer! I have blocks under the shell but it is "floating" in the air over the rear frame, about 4 feet.
I have a million questions for you, as you are further along than I am and you have some very good solutions to problems I've encountered.
Feel free to contact me directly at
    Thanks!! Tom Detweiler
