Thanks for the encouragement, Dean! My wife plans to do half the driving when we travel to the west coast next month and she feels quite comfortable towing the Safari with our MDX (except that I am the one to do the backing up at this point). She states that if we were using a truck she would not be comfortable doing the driving. We are really looking forward to our trip in September and we will posed how things go. Good luck with your Honda Ridgeline and future Airstream. I hope the two of you can enjoy many years of exploring and adventure together.

Hi Dino! I also have a 2003 19' Bambi. The 22 is a little easier to tow but I have no problem towing the Bambi. Up long mountain grades I will only be doing 40 to 45, but other than that I have had no issues.

    Love my Ridgeline!

Congrats on your new rig, those Ridgelines are nice and of course the Bambi is too. Don't see Steady Flex written on it anywhere but it is a Reese and the bar ends slide on friction material at the ends. Functions great, tows very effortlessly and smoothly. Can only imagine how nice the '17 Ridgeline will be and also a touch more power than our '10. Posted close-ups of the Reese in my gallery if you want a better look.
