Hi, I’m M. I made an account specifically to be able to ask you if I have the same model magic chef stove as you, haha. I found a thread of yours, after combing google images for a stove that looked similar to mine, and the only difference I can find between mine and yours, is that yours is yellow lol.. At any rate, I was also hoping you could please tell me how to light the pilot for the stove? Or even better, tell me where I can download the owners manual? (If we do indeed have the same magic chef model, of course. Haha) For some reason, one of the previous owners removed the sticker with the model information... sorry to bug. Thank you for your time, sir.

Edit: I tried to attach a photo of my stove and it’s not showing up on my end... I hope you can see it. Let me know if not pls. Here’s a link to it too, ahhh. https://tinypic.com/r/5fkkfr/9

    Hi Dan,

A shortened email. I did write a long email and for some reason it disappeared when I sent send.

I ended up getting the group 27 deep cycle battery. I did a test run on the battery by hooking it up by the connectors that you attached to my 12 volt wires, and it worked.

I have not actually installed the battery yet. I was a bit confused if I needed a battery box or a battery tray. I still have the original battery vent plastic tube that exits the back of the trailer. I seem to remember you had done a tray, but you had the very expensive batteries, and they may not off gas like the one that I got from Walmart.

I appreciate the information that you have shared on the Forum. I do not post, mainly because I do not think that I have much to share. But I do enjoy reading your posts, and planning and thinking and problem solving my way through my own Airstream to make my trailer a safe and comfortable place to live and travel.

    Sincerely,
    Karen

Hi Dan, I didn't know that I was talking to one of my Airstream mentors when we spoke at Alumalina. You were my go to guy for 1966 information 3 years ago when we were in the middle of getting rid of my not in the backend. Not until I started looking for which battery I should install, did I come across your posts and recognized your Curve port-a-potty from the back side of your trailer, and the SmartSolar MPPT 75/15. OH!!!
So I have decided on the 27 Group from Walmart for my 1st battery to test going across country this winter.
But the other place that you sprang up in my queries was the Magic Chef primer. Still doing my diagnostics and getting closer every day to getting it to work. But I can't get the link to work on your thread from that pica site that is suppose to show all of the parts in pictures. Karen

    Dan,
I guess you are wondering what I was talking about in my post, asking if you had those lights in your store. I must be getting senile ;-0
I had been looking at lights on LED4RV.com, thinking I was responding to Dan the owner. They have a store in High Point NC , where I stop by occasionally.

    Thanks,

The one on the ramp is a 2013 KLX250L (street legal); lucky enough to work at the shop (www.worldofpowersports.com) and get my pick of rides when I head out. This is perfect for running into town to get supplies w/o disconnecting - or if my Wife takes her sister's somewhere shopping - I still have transportation.

    Hello Dan,
I'm a newer Airstream owner and live in Boones Mill,VA, just south of Roanoke. I found you on the forum here and wondered if you ever get to the Roanoke area? I have a '72/73 Sovereign, 31', center bath that I need some advice about. Would it be possible to arrange a visit?
    thanks so much,
    Su Smith
