I love being able to just pull over and make a grilled cheese sandwich any time I feel like it.

Hi Tom, My name is Carrie and I'm a stay at home mom with a 1966 Overlander parked in my driveway. What an addiction it has become!! The remodel is now basically in my hands since it was my idea and orchestration that planted her there. My husband helps somewhat, but being that he works to pay for the dang thing it's pretty much up to me. I thought you could lend me some insight on my latest project which is replacing the kitchen faucet. I will try and send you pics of what I have because I'm having problems getting the original one off. Their appears to be 3 copper tubes up through the middle hole and it's not letting me take it out. Should I replace with new plastic (and plyable) tubing or leave the original copper ones? (Dang it, can't figure out how to insert photos either in this message... I'll send this on and keep trying to post to my acct. Thank you!

    Hi Tom,

It's been so long since we discussed that stuff, I forgot what my questions were. About the moment arms and stuff. I had designed a really sweet frame, but when I started digging, there was so much other stuff that needed help that I sold the trailer. I have an '87 Avion 34X now. The frame on it is actually heavier than the one I designed for my Excella. It pulls very nicely. My grand dad still has a '58 Traveler that I want to get. It needs a total resto, but it's just the opposite of my monster; it's like a 17 or 18 foot. It'd be nice for two for a weekend.

Anyway, thanks for thinking of me. We can always revive the conversation and I'd be willing to share my frame design with anyone who'd want to see it.

    thanks,

    Jim
